The Jewish Roots of Christianity

A special guest speaker coming to The Torah….

The Jewish Roots of Christianity

with Harvey Katzen

Saturday 9/28 | 8:45am | NCCC Reception Room C105

The Torah Saturday study will be featuring a special guest, Harvey Katzen. This event is open to all!

Harvey Katzen grew up in an Orthodox Jewish home in Brooklyn, New York. The son of immigrant Jewish parents from Eastern Europe, it wasn’t until he was almost 30 years old and after his move to San Diego, that he was confronted with the claim of Jesus Christ as the Jewish Messiah. After spending the next several years in the Hebrew Scriptures trying to disprove any truth to this claim, Harvey was utterly convinced that only Jesus could have fulfilled the more than 300 prophecies in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) concerning the identity of the Jewish Messiah and His coming to the nation of Israel over 2,000 years ago. For over 40 years Harvey has been involved in bringing the Good News of Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach) to Jewish people throughout the San Diego area, and hosting the radio program Kol HaMashiach (Voice of the Messiah) which was aired regionally in southern California.
